Driscoll, Nielsen take top spots on home turf

American Falls’ Hailey Driscoll liked the home turf, taking second in the barrel racing at the District 4 High School Rodeo in American Falls on Friday, May 3. She had a time of 18.095. Aberdeen’s Lexie Lehman took third with a time of 18.22.

Lehman also took third in the pole bending event, with a time of 21.793. Driscoll took fifth with a time of 22.792, and American Falls’ Hunter Morris took seventh with a time of 23.495. American Falls’ Rochelle Whitnah took eighth with a time of 23.955. Lehman took fourth in the breakaway roping event.

American Falls’ Stetson Nielsen took first in the steer wrestling with a time of 5.7. Lexie Lehman took fourth in the goat tying event with a time 10.03, Whitnah took sixth with a time of 14.38, and American Falls’ Sadie Nugent took seventh with a time of 14.48.

Driscoll then took first in the barrel racing at the rodeo on Saturday, May 4, in American Falls, with a time of 17.971. Lehman took fourth with a time of 18.599, and Whitnah took tenth with a time of 19.6121.

Driscoll took third in the pole bending with a time of 21.882, and Lehman took fourth with a time of 21.948. Lehman took second in breakaway roping with a time of 26.58, and seventh in the goat tying with a time of 17.69, where Whitnah took eighth with a time of 23.08 and Nugent took ninth with a time of 23.08.

American Falls’ Tyler Sherer and Gus Kuttler took third in the team roping with a time of 15.5.
