The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to Idaho Falls. They will celebrate their 81st anniversary with Anheuser-Busch this year, the hitch team and red wagon will appear at the Idaho Falls Chukars baseball game on July 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the Grower Field Day festivities on July 18 at 3:00 p.m.
The Chukars game is located at 568 Elva in Idaho Falls. The Grower Field day is at the Idaho Falls Busch Ag Plant on 5755 South Yellowstone Hwy in Idaho Falls. The Brewmaster Mobile tour will be from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18.
During Grower Field Day, Anheuser-Busch will debut its pilot SmartBarley Data Sharing Program to area barley growers. SmartBarley is a data collection tool that helps barley growers compare improve their crop management practices to increase productivity and water efficiency. In addition, residents will also be able to see how important high-quality barley is to the brewing process. The growers will also be able to take part in interactive demonstrations of AgriMet, a mobile weather station that growers use to track real-time weather and water data so they know when and how much to water their fields.
They will also be able to see how important high-quality barley is to the brewing process when the Budweiser Mobile Brewmaster Tour stops at the event. The tour offers a scaled simulation of the time-honored eight-step Budweiser brewing process.
