Albert Lozoya put together two good rounds Saturday and Sunday to claim championship flight honors in the annual Kentco/Coca-Cola Amateur golf tournament on the American Falls Golf Course.
Lozoya fired a three over round of 69 on Saturday, then shot a two-under round of 64 on Sunday for a two-day total of 133.
Second in the championship flight was Andrew Cortez, who shot matching rounds of 68-68 for a 136 total.
Winning net in the championship flight was Ernie Eggers at 123. He was just one shot ahead of Osvaldo Agado, who took second at 124.
Winning lap money for the lowest non-winning scores on Sunday were Ricky Dotson and Justin Hagar.
Jerry Magee easily captured the first flight total after firing rounds of 66-65 for a 131, winning his flight by nine and shooting the lowest score of the tournament. Second gross in the flight went to Mark Beebe who shot 68-72—140.
Tied for third were Don Nebeker and Charlie Woodworth, both at 144.
Austin Torres won the net with a score of 113. Tied for second at 119 were Billy Agado and Greg Knittel. Lap money was won by Oly Agado and Bo Knittel.
Dale Fehringer shot 75-80 for first gross in the second flight at 155. Second went to Chase Woodworth at 158, with Pete Cortez coming in third at 159.
Mark Mills won the net division with a 125. He was followed closely by Kevin Morgan, second at 126, and Jeff Welch third at 129.
Lap money in the second flight was won by Dave Heinson and Shane West.
