Myrna Winberg

Myrna Arlene Winberg, of Springfield, ID, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 in Pocatello, ID. She was born Oct. 23, 1940 in Tremonton, UT.

She married Richard C. Winberg in July of 1956 and together they had seven children. Three boys preceded her in death, Wayne, Richard and Mark Winberg. Myrna is survived by her husband Richard; two boys, Daniel Winberg and Blaine Winberg; and two daughters, Terry Christensen and Cindy Chapple.

Myrna had failing health for the past five years and lived with her daughter Cindy in Chubbuck, who took special care of her. Myrna was a kind soul who would help any way she could. She worked hard on the farm all her life until her health failed. She loved the farm and especially the animals. We will miss her dearly.

The visitation was from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lakeview Ward, Springfield, ID. The funeral started at 11 a.m. and interment followed at the Springfield-Sterling Cemetery. Condolences and memories may also be shared at

    Hello! Dear Myrna’s Family, I am so sorry to hear of
    her death. I hope the following thought will be of comfort to you!

    “If a man die, shall he live again?” asked the man Job long ago. (Job 14:14, King James Version) Perhaps you, too, have wondered about this. How would you feel if you knew that a reunion with your loved ones was possible right here on earth under the best of conditions?

    Well, the Bible makes the promise: “Your dead ones will live.…They will rise up.” And the Bible also says: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Isaiah 26:19; Psalm 37:29.
