The Aberdeen High School boys’ basketball team had a rough week falling to two non-conference opponents and one conference rival.
The Tigers faced Bear Lake on Friday Jan. 17, falling 53-30 to the Bears.
AHS then returned home for a three game home stretch hosting the Soda Spring Cardinals and North Fremont Huskies on Friday, Jan. 24, and Saturday Jan. 25, respectively.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Houston Wahlen who added 14 points to the scoreboard. Despite Wahlen’s efforts the Tigers fell 60-30 to the Cardinals.
Wahlen continued to lead the team in scoring the following night against the Huskies with 13 points. Ethan Elliott scored five points, Zane Bono contributed four points and Taylor Vaughn added two points on the night for the Tigers.
Even with the offensive production the Tigers were not able to hold off North Fremont who picked up the win 46-24 over Aberdeen High School.
The AHS boys’ basketball team will continue their home stretch tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 29, by hosting the Snake River Panthers.
