Beck’s championship bout with Layton Wasia from Firth was one of the best matches of the tournament. At the end of round one the score was 0-0. Beck was given his choice at the beginning of the second round and chose down where he quickly escaped after the whistle earning a point. The score at the end of round two was 1-0, Beck. Wasia chose down in the third round and also earned an escape point and the score stayed 1-1 throughout the rest of round 3, sending the match into sudden death overtime. The sudden death overtime was a hard fought battle. With only four seconds left, however, Wasia got the take down over Beck. Beck placed second at the tournament.

Austin Anderson, after one loss, fought his way back through consolation and placed sixth at the tournament.
