In 1947, Margaret married LeVern Tieszen, who had come to Idaho from Montana. At the time of Margaret’s passing, they had been married for 67 years.
Margaret and LeVern lived in Aberdeen, Idaho, for over fifty years, during which time they owned various businesses. Margaret always took an active part, even while raising their five children.
Throughout her life, Margaret enjoyed traveling with LeVern. They vacationed in various locations around the world. Another favorite getaway was their cabin in Palisades, Idaho.
In 2004, Margaret and LeVern moved to Caldwell, Idaho, to be closer to their two daughters. Although Margaret’s health was beginning to fail by this time, she enjoyed attending games, track meets, concerts, and graduation ceremonies for her grandchildren.
