DeVon was a hard worker, He farmed with two of his brothers, Delwin and Everett, as Lowder Brothers. Together they farmed and operated a dairy. He found joy and satisfaction working with the labors of his hands.
DeVon found joy in the simple things, a sharp pocket knife, classic automobiles, a well-kept woodpile, a warm fire on a cold night and a newborn calf.
