POWER COUNTY COMMISSIONER
Synopsis of Minutes for October 26, 2015

Meeting convened at 9:08 am.
NOTICES/REPORTS and POINTS OF ORDER:
The Board welcomed Terrell Sorensen as the newly appointed County Extension Agent.
Geographic Information (mapping) adaptation was discussed. Adult basic education program update was provided. Electronic personnel time keeping concerns were reported and directed to the provider for resolution. Proposed jail remodel options were reported to the Board. Bid proposal for cleaning at Houtz Canyon was denied by consensus.
Update from Southeastern Idaho Public Health Department was tabled until December, 2015.
Indigent Claims were removed from the agenda as there were no applications to review.
MOTIONS:
Agenda was amended to include Geographic Information System Mapping and Adult Development education and then approved.
Personal Property tax transferred to the Real Property Tax Roll and $98.50 for the property was cancelled.
Utility tax was cancelled in the amount of $1868.48.
Treasurer updates and financial reports were accepted. Ambulance financial reports were accepted.

Applications for Certificate of Residency pursuant to I.C. §33-2110 for Junior College Tuition were approved.
An agreement between Power County and the Mini-Cassia Juvenile Detention Center was executed.
An agreement between Power County and New York Life Insurance was executed.
Regene Jones was nominated for re-appointment to the Eastern Idaho State Fair Board.
Statement of Findings on hardship exemptions were approved and executed.
Commissioner meeting minutes for October 1, 2015, October 13, 2015 and October 21, 2015, were approved.
ASSESSMENTS/CONCLUSIONS:
Next regular session for the board to meet is slated for November 9, 2015.
Meeting adjourned at 5:11 pm.
