The Aberdeen High School Tiger boys’ basketball team played three conference games last week. The faced Soda Springs twice and Bear Lake once, losing to Soda twice and beating Bear Lake.
The first game against Soda Springs Cardinals was a make up game held at Soda Springs on Monday, Feb. 1. The game had been postponed because of weather earlier. The Tiger lost to the Cardinals 58-44.
“We played Soda for the first time this season, they jumped out to an early lead and although we out scored them in the second half we just couldn’t make up the difference,” coach Stephen Grigg said.
Juan Juarez led the team in scoring with 13 points. Jaxson Wahlen scored 11, Dallon Elliott scored eight, Jake Hall scored five, Jared Carrasco scored three and Victor Klassen and Chris Funk each scored two points….
