Two Lady Tigers named to Fifth District All-Conference teams

The AHS Lady Tiger basketball program announced that two of its players, Makenna Schritter and Tasha Pocock, were named to the 2A fifth District All-Conference teams. Schritter, a junior guard who averaged 16.7 points, 2.5 assists, 4.5 steals, and 6.3 rebounds per game was named 1st team all-conference by vote of the coaches of the 2A fifth District. Pocock, a senior guard with per game averages of 11.9 points, 1.2 assists, 3.05 steals, and 4.8 rebounds was named to the All-Conference second team. Both players were named to the all-conference second team last season.

Pocock was also selected this year to participate in the fifth District All-Star game to be held at Pocatello High School on Monday, March 14. The All-Star game features the top seniors from each of the high schools in the fifth district. The girls game will be played at 5 p.m., followed by the boys game at 7 p.m….
