The American Falls School District invites patrons and community members to review the two proposed bond questions at a community meeting held in late April and early May. One bond would demolish and replace a building at the American Falls Intermediate School and the other would build a new gym at the American Falls High School.
The school board approved the two bond proposals at its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 15, for voters to vote on during the election on Tuesday, May 17. The board requires a super majority of 66.66 percent approval for the bond to pass.
“It is important that every citizen and voter knows and understand the details of the bond proposal” said Bruce Hauber, American Falls School Board chairman. “The board and committee want to provide as many opportunities as possible for people to have their questions addressed.” …
