Lady Tigers split first two games of the season


The Aberdeen Lady Tiger volleyball team played two games and lost one and won the other in their first two games of the volleyball season.

On Wednesday, Aug. 31, they traveled to Firth for their season opener. They lost in a nail biter game. Scores were: 25-16, 25-15, 25-20, 25-17 and 16-14.

“We were not on with our passing and let them get too many serves in a row,” coach Melanie Beck said.
Destanie Ponce led the team with two aces. Zoe Behrend had three blocks. Isabelle Beck had 10 kills and 18 digs. Makenna Schritter had 17 kills and 19 digs. Baylee Wahlen had 29 assists….
