AFHS grad in hospital after horrific car accident

A recent American Falls High School graduate, Hayley Beck, was injured in a car wreck while driving home from college. She sustained major injuries, and is currently in the hospital in Seattle, WA.

On the evening of Friday Sept. 2, she rolled her car outside of Butte, MT. She was traveling home for the weekend from University of Idaho where she is a pre-med math major.

Hayley was travelling alone on I-90 in a rainstorm when, for unknown reasons, her car left the roadway into the median, said her father, Jared Beck. Her car slid sideways then rolled three times before coming to a rest on the other side of the interstate.

She was wearing her seatbelt but was partially ejected through the driver’s side window, sustaining injuries to her skull and face when the car rolled over her head. She suffered multiple extensive skull and facial fractures as well as two broken ribs….
