The Rockland High School football had its second win of the season, during its homecoming game against Rimrock on Friday, Sept. 16. Rockland blew out Rimrock 38-6.
Rockland pulled ahead after an exceptionally strong second quarter where the Bulldogs racked up 30 points. It came after a slow first quarter where both teams suffered through long drives.
Rockland did not score in the second half, but kept Rimrock to one touchdown in the fourth quarter. Rockland Coach Andy Nelson was glad so much of their bench got to play in the homecoming game.
“Everyone on our roster got multiple quarters,” he said. …
