Lady Tigers win senior night, lose at districts


The Lady Tigers had their senior night on Thursday, Oct. 13. According to head coach Melanie Beck it was a fun day for the seniors, being honored by their teammates and parents and family. Then they played on fire for their final home game against Soda Springs winning in four sets, 25-22, 25-21, 20-25, 25-20.

“They played a great game, like the team they are,” coach Beck said.

Stat leaders were Makenna Schritter seven aces, 15 kills, Shelbie Anderson four aces, Zoe Behrend four aces, three blocks, Isabelle Beck three aces, 16 kills, Destanie Ponce three blocks, Baylee Wahlen 41 assists.

“It was a great night and the girls played with confidence,” she added.
