The Aberdeen High School Tiger boys’ basketball team started their season with wins over Rockland, Wendell and North Fremont.
On Tuesday, Nov. 29, the Tigers hosted the Rockland Bulldogs. Aberdeen ended victorious with a score of 46-39.
“We came out and played a little nervous for our first varsity game, but we never quit, played through some adversity and came out on the winning end,” said coach Stephen Grigg.
Jacob Hall led the way with a double double, (14 points and 11 rebounds). He was followed by Dallon Elliott with 11 points and seven rebounds; Jaxon Wahlen with seven points and four rebounds; Bryson Foster with four points and six rebounds; Victor Klassen with four points and three rebounds; Dexton Wallace with two points and five rebounds; Matthew Klassen with two points and two rebounds; and Mitchell Spence with two points.
