Beavers fall to rival Aberdeen

The American Falls Beavers varsity basketball team has struggled to get their feet underneath them early in the season. With a big game against rival Aberdeen, American Falls again struggled at the beginning of the game, going down by over 10 early in the first quarter. They never cut back into the lead and lost 64-44 Thursday, Dec. 8.

The Beavers put up a tough second quarter allowing only seven points in the period, but only scoring eight themselves.

The Beavers outscored the Tigers 21 to 20 in the fourth quarter but losing the first and third quarter by a combined 22 points was the hole they couldn’t get out of.
