Lady Tigers take first at tournament, done well since

The Aberdeen Lady Tiger basketball team hosted a tournament during the holidays and ended up taking first place at the tournament. Teams involved at the tournament were Aberdeen, Sho-ban, Wendell, Grace, North Fremont, Rockland, Hagerman and Challis.
Aberdeen took first place with a win over North Fremont in the championship game. The Lady Tigers beat that game 41-35. North Fremont placed second, Challis – third place, Wendell – fourth, Grace – fifth, Rockland – sixth, Sho-ban – seventh and Hagerman placed eighth.
They traveled to West Side on Saturday, Jan. 7 and beat the Lady Pirates 41-35. Makenna Schritter led the team in points with 14. Zoe Behrend made 10, Josefina Uribe made nine, Makenzie Rucker made six and Destanie Ponce made two.
