Meeting convened at 10:01 am.

The Board discussed or heard reports on the Power County Airport planning and personnel updates.

Amended agenda, certificate of residency application for junior college tuition assistance, and request to host Senior Center Grant was granted. The Board recessed for lunch at 11:50 am and reconvened at 1:00 pm. The Board send a letter to the editor supporting participation in the Oneida Narrows project.
Judge Paul S Laggis administered the Oath of Office to the following;
• District 2 Commissioner William “Bill” Lasley
• District 3 Commissioner Joey Delane Anderson
• Prosecuting Attorney Ryan Petersen
• Sheriff Jim Jeffries
A lease addendum for commercial space at the airport and renewal of a memorandum of understanding for space rental of satellite equipment with Idaho Military was executed.
Commissioner meeting minutes for December 19 and 23, 2016, were approved.
A retirement separation benefit payment in the amount of $1,242.45 was approved for payout.
ASSESSMENTS/CONCLUSIONS:
POW/MIA bike radio options were discussed and tabled to continue on January 23, 2017.
Airport Board appointments and jail inspection were tabled to January 23, 2017.
Refund for overpayment on closing costs on the palmer house were reported and the Clerk was directed to obtain appropriate process of the overpayment from the outside auditor.
Bond funding was discussed and continued to January 31, 2017.
A personnel executive session was held.
Next regular session for the board to meet is slated for January 23, 2017.
Meeting adjourned at 4:11 pm.

Agenda was approved and Power County Ordinance 2017-01 Authorizing General Obligation Bond was adopted.

Next regular session for the board to meet is slated for January 23, 2017.
Meeting adjourned at 3:10 pm.
