Bonnie A. Beasley, 87, of Pocatello, ID, passed away, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Monte Vista Hills in Pocatello.
Bonnie was born Feb. 24, 1931 in Ogden, UT, to Lester Joseph Stokes and LoVina Pearl Wadsworth Stokes.
Bonnie spent her early years in Kaysville, UT, and graduated from Ogden High School.
On Aug. 24, 1955 she married Darrell LeRoy Beasley in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Darrell preceded her in death on July 10, 1994.
Bonnie and Darrell lived in Ogden before moving to Idaho. They farmed and built a new home in the Springfield/Sterling area, where they raised their family.
Bonnie worked as a homemaker taking care of her home and children. She also worked for a short time at the Aberdeen Simplot, and the fish hatchery. She worked at the senior citizen center in Aberdeen in the kitchen.
She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many church callings, in the Primary, Sunday School, and Relief Society Presidency and as a teacher. She enjoyed music immensely and loved singing in the choir.
Bonnie loved being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren and family. She loved sewing, quilting, cooking, baking, gardening, and singing all the while. She always wore a smile and loved others unceasingly and unconditionally, always looking for ways to serve.
