Museum stays put, after talk of moving

The age of the members of the Power County Historical Society and a lack of open spaces means the Power County Museum is remaining where it is.

The Power County commissioners had an idea to move the museum from the Power County Extension Office, where it is now housed, to a recently-purchased home on the corner of Roosevelt and Bannock Streets in American Falls.

Commissioner Delane Anderson thought it would be a perfect fit, especially considering the home was one of the original houses…
