Aerial images provide detailed county mapping

Airplane flyovers last October and November by a software company called EagleView helped create detailed mapping now used by Power County.

The airplanes used an array of five cameras to take pictures of buildings and land in Power County. The pictures allow county employees to view the geography from the top or even from the side in a cutting edge process called pictometry.
