Accepting Kyle Curry Memorial award


American Falls High School wrestler Julian Gallegos accepts the 2013 Kyle Curry Memorial Scholarship Award from Tom Swanson of Farm Bureau Insurance, who sponsored the award. Also pictured are high school wrestling coaches Richard Curry, who was Kyle Curry’s father, and Jim Giulio. Gallegos, a senior, took third at the district level and first at state during the recent wrestling season. This award is the second annual award named after Kyle Curry, who tragically passed away. Swanson said the award is given to a recipient who shows dedication, commitment, leadership, integrity, and hard work. Those are the characteristics Kyle Curry had, he said.
