Picture of the week: Evacuation drill held at the schools

Children of the elementary school were very organized during the Emergency Evacuation Drill that was held on Friday, Sept. 13. The elementary and middle school students walked to the City Park. The elementary students gathered on the north side of the park and the middle school students gathered on the south side. The high school students walked to the Catholic Community Park. Buses or parents then picked up the students at those locations.

For the last week crews working for Double Point Construction have been using a crane to demolish the old Power County Grain Growers building. The wooden structure is now owned by CHS and was torn down to make way for future improvements.
