American Falls Reservoir upstream continues to fill for the upcoming watering season. As temperatures warm and spring runoff kicks into high gear, reservoirs further upstream will hopefully fill quickly and the flow in the river will increase, once again covering rocks in the river and making it more accessible to boating.

Efrain Medel (left), wrestling at 220 lb., and Julian Gallegos, wrestling at 182 lb.,brought home state championships for American Falls High School from the state werstling tournament held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22 and 23, at Holt Arena in Pocatello. Gallegos also became a member of the Century Club, collecting his 100th wrestling victory during the tournament. The AFHS squad finished sixth overall. Read more inside on page six.
