Carol Clark
Carol Ann Littlefield-Clark, 59, of Aberdeen passed away in her home Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010.
She was born Sept. 17, 1950, in American Falls, to Raymond and Hazel Canfield-Littlefield. After spending her early years in American Falls, her family moved to Pocatello, and later relocated to Aberdeen. She attended school in Pocatello and American Falls.
Carol married Jim Clark in 1973 and they made their home in Washington. They later divorced.
She was employed for many years at the Simplot Aberdeen Food Division, as well as the Fresh Pack Division, and later operated a cleaning service.
Carol had a good sense of humor and a soft heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and was a lifelong Elvis Presley fan, once visiting Graceland.
She is survived by two brothers, Charlie Littlefield of Aberdeen and Ron (Andrea) Littlefield of Pocatello; two sisters, Jane (Jay) Simonson of Idaho Falls and Donna (Brian) Jensen of American Falls.
Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and three brothers, Carl (her twin), Harold and Alvin Littlefield.
Visitation was held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St., American Falls.

Funeral Notice
Ferdinand “Ford” Gehring
Ferdinand “Ford” Gehring, 94, of American Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010 at the Power County Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 656 Tyhee Ave., American Falls. The visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho Street, American Falls, and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the Fireside Room at the church. Memorials can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.

Leland Oscar Snider
Leland Oscar Snider died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at Spring Creek Manor. He was born March 20, 1922 in Boise, ID.
Leland served in the Navy on the Pacific during World War II, as a Pharmacist Mate for two years. He then worked for Idaho Power for 34 years as an Electrical Engineer before retiring.
He married Alice Snider on Oct. 31, 1970. They spent their time together in Clearlake, Elk City, Twin Falls and American Falls. He loved to go for afternoon drives on the back county roads. He always wanted to be outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Snider of American Falls; Danny (Carolyn) Osborn of Illinois, Roxie (Lynn) Simms of American Falls; grandchildren Justin Osborn of Arizona, Lance Osborn, JR (Lisa) Osborn of Tennessee, Danyell (Kyle) Glascock of American Falls, Brandy (Jared) Saiz of American Falls, Bobby (Katie) Simms of Pocatello; sister Marie Shalberger and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ruby Snider; and one brother, Eddie Snider.
The military graveside service was at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17, at Falls View Cemetery, American Falls. Visitation was at 10 a.m. prior to graveside at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho Street, American Falls.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Spring Creek Manor or Access Hospice.

A memorial service for Daniel O’Harra has been planned for Thursday, Aug. 12, at 2 p.m. at Powerhouse Christian Fellowship on Sunbeam Road.

Pauline (Wilske) Reis
(1918-2010)
Pauline M. Reis passed away Friday, July 2, 2012, in Napa, CA. She was born Feb. 22, 1918, in Dubois, ID.
She lived her youth in Aberdeen and graduated from high school in 1936. She married Edmund Wilske in 1938 and they lived in American Falls until 1959, when they moved to San Leandro, CA. Edmund retired from the Alameda Naval Air Station in Alameda, CA, and passed away in 1981.
The following year she married Henry (Hank) Reis and in 1986 they moved to Napa, CA. They traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and parts of Europe.
Pauline was a member of the Congregational Church in American Falls and the First Christian Church in San Leandro. She enjoyed sewing, needlecrafts and knitting, but family was what was most important to her.
She is survived by her husband, Henry, of Napa. She has three sons: Ronald Wilske of Napa, CA; Michael Wilske of Cathedral City, CA; and Steven Wilske of Pleasanton, CA. She has six grandchildren: Megan, Kevin, Erik, Craig, Ryan and Sean. She is also survived by two brothers, Eldon and Orlando Dalke, and two sisters, Linda Claassen and Ruth Eden.
A memorial service will be held in American Falls at Falls View Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m.

Luis Carrillo Aguilar
Luis Carrillo Aguilar, 77, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at his home. He was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Calvillo, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Enriqueta Cerna and Severino Carrillo. He married Feliza Cerna with whom they had eight kids.
He would come to the U.S. during seasonal working times. He lived most of his life in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico before permanently immigrating to the U.S. in 2000. He spent time in Forth Worth, TX; Las Vegas, NV; and American Falls.
He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids, playing poker, walking, gardening and visiting with friends.
He is survived by his kids, Antonio (Ramona) of Las Vegas, NV; Gelacio (Sofia) of Shelley, ID; Adan (Agustina) of Fresno, CA; Zacarias (Zaleta) of Forth Worth, TX; Wenseslao (Mary) of Forth Worth, TX; Yolanda (Honorato) of American Falls; Tomas (Antonia) of Las Vegas, NV; and Oliverio (Catalina) of Forth Worth, TX; 34 grandkids; and a lot of great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Feliza; his parents, Severino and Enriqueta; brothers, Telesforo, Luis; and sisters, Delfina and Leonor.
The Mass of Resurrection was celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 352 Roosevelt St. in American Falls, with Fr. John Worster as Celebrant. Interment followed at the Falls View Cemetery.
The Rosary was recited at 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 2, at St. Mary’s. The family received friends at 6 p.m. Monday at the church and one hour prior to the Mass on Tuesday.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Davis Mortuary, 170 Idaho St., American Falls.
