Lady Tiger volleyball
faces challenges

At the beginning of the away game against American Falls, the Aberdeen Tiger starting setter sprained her ankle. The rest of the team has been stepping up to replace her and doing a great job, according to coach Melanie Beck. Aberdeen lost that game to the Beavers. Scores were AF 25-Aberdeen 22, AF 13-Aberdeen 25, and then the nail biter AF 19-Aberdeen 17.
Aberdeen then hosted a tri-meet on Thursday. Ririe and Rockland came to play. Aberdeen lost to Ririe in two games 10-15 and 14-25.
However, the Lady Tigers beat Rockland in both games, with scores of 25-17 and 25-11.
The Lady Tigers next game will be Thursday, Sept. 2, at home against Firth and then they will travel to Rockland on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

In this week's Times' print edition: Football and soccer results from this week's Aberdeen High School games.
