Tina Isaak
Leontina (Tina) C. Isaak, 89, of Coeur d’Alene, ID, died peacefully following a short illness on Feb. 21, 2012. Her strong faith in God was her foundation and she looked forward to joining her Savior in heaven as well as her husband, John W. Isaak.
Tina was born April 15, 1922 in American Falls, ID, to Henry and Maria (Mary) Müeller Kranzler. She grew up on a farm and graduated from American Falls High School. She married the love of her life, John, on March 15, 1942 and they lived 33 years in Pocatello, ID, before moving to Coeur d’Alene in 1979. Through the years, Tina was active in her church, including serving as organist. Her interests included music, sewing, Bridge, entertaining guests and volunteering for charities, such as the Red Cross. She found her faith was strengthened daily through reading God’s word.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Hertha, and her brother, Alvin. Survivors include two sisters-in law, Ellen Kranzler of Boise and Annie Lehmann of Aberdeen; five nieces and nephews, Dayna (Bill) Feher, of Dagsboro, DE; Conrad Kranzler of Boise; Mark (Sherrie) Kranzler of Pocatello; Camille (John Newcomb) Kranzler of Boise; and Anne (Gary) McDannel of Rigby.
A celebration of Tina’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 24, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Coeur d’Alene, with a reception to follow. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church Endowment Fund, c/o Trinity Lutheran Church, 812 N. 5th St., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
Adrienne Adamson
Adrienne Adamson, of Aberdeen, ID, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at Spring Creek, in American Falls, ID.
She was born in Blackfoot, ID, to Emma and Myron Dance on Jan. 7, 1934. She went to first grade in Fairview, ID, then the family moved and she attended schools in Groveland, ID, then in Aberdeen where she graduated from Aberdeen High School. Later she attended John F. Kennedy College in San Antonio, and San Antonio Junior College.
Adrienne married Leon Adamson on June 23, 1951. Together they moved several times with his military career, traveling and visiting 34 countries, and raising their boys and a few that stepped in for a visit along the way. When Leon retired from the Air Force the family returned to Idaho in 1972 and Adrienne spent 22 years employed at the Simplot Potato Food Group in Aberdeen. She made many lifelong friends while working at Simplot.
She is survived by her husband, Leon; her sons, Mark and LesLee, Spanish Fork UT, Mike and Tammy, Brigham City, UT, and Randy and Leslie, Aberdeen; cherished friend and chosen daughter, Rita Workman Darrah; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Phillip and Don Dance; and one sister, Celia Buchanan. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Myron Cal Dance.
The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Aberdeen 2nd Ward, 149 W. Central, Aberdeen. The visitation was from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral. The interment was at the Springfield-Sterling Cemetery.
