Hospital board feels higher hospital use attributable to remodel

The Power County Hospital District board pointed to higher emergency room numbers as a sign of success of its remodel during its budget hearing on Monday, Aug. 22. The board also hopes to soon finish its remodeling plans as early as next year. However, the hospital continues to struggle with financial software that has made its billing late.
