Charles Paul Cary

Charles “Paul” Cary, 81 of Boise, ID, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. Paul preceded his wife of 57 years Darla Mae Cary, his daughter M. Kit Howell (Chris), and son Charles S. Cary (Jarmila), five grandchildren: Kara Dawson (Blaine), Kason Wedel (Ashley), Kortney Howell (Aaron), Kyle Cary, and Alex Cary. He has seven great-grandchildren: Kaydin, Kinsey, Branson, Paxton, Regan, Easton, and Braylon.

Paul was born in Aberdeen, ID, to Paula Joan Horsch-Cary, and Charles Weston Cary. He grew up in Aberdeen and attended Aberdeen High School. He served two years in the US Army and returned to Aberdeen to marry and raise his family. He was active in the city council, Boy Scouts, a volunteer firefighter/EMT, and involved in numerous other organizations. Paul enjoyed flying (private) with his buddies, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and building RC airplanes.

Paul worked in the agricultural irrigation industry in his early years then went to work for Eaton Corporation as a Project Site Manager installing Computerized Retrieval Systems. He spent years traveling in which his family was able to join him and have the opportunity to live and experience life in several U.S. states. Once Paul retired he returned to Aberdeen and then followed his children and moved to Boise to enjoy his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren which he enjoyed until the end.

Paul will be laid to rest at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boise Idaho.
