Glenna Joanne (Marriott) Hellickson left this earth to be with her loving husband Edward E, Hellickson on June 22, 2022 with family by her side.
Glenna was born to Doris Blalock on March 8, 1947 and later adopted by Willie Viola “Billie” and Raymond Marriott. She grew up in Aberdeen, ID.
She later married the love of her life, Edward Hellickson, on Sept. 2, 1963. They had two children Katrina (Evans) Hellickson and Shayla Hellickson, eventually adopting one grandson.
Glenna worked various jobs, managing bars, Lamb Weston, Aberdeen School District and Manager of the Aberdeen Senior Center. She also volunteered in many community projects, such as the Aberdeen Food Bank.
Glenna is survived by her daughters, 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and two great-granddaughters to be born in the coming months. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and her husband Edward.
A celebration of life will be conducted on July 30, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Aberdeen American Legion.
Glenna requested that live plants be sent instead of cut flowers, as she detested cut flowers.
