Joyce LaVerne Duffin Kress 1929-2023

Joyce Kress died peacefully at the age of 93 after a brief illness in the home of her daughter, Nancy Dastrup, Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Joyce was born March 24, 1929 in Aberdeen, ID, to James Albert Duffin and Thelma Hazel Burton. Joyce was the oldest of four children including two younger sisters, Carol Poulson and Joan Line, and brother, Jerry Duffin. Joyce is survived by her sister, Joan, her son, Richard Kress, her two daughters, Nancy (Bruce) Dastrup, and Linda (George) Monninger, eight grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Lloyd Henry Kress, her parents, brother, and sister.
A viewing was held Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023 from 9 to 10:45 a.m. in the Grove Creek 7th Ward Chapel on 1042 North 500 East, Pleasant Grove, UT. Funeral services followed at 11 a.m.
