Marla Goff-4-5-23

AMERICAN FALLS – Marla Goff, a 74-year-old resident of American Falls, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Power Nursing Home in American Falls.
She was born Aug. 26, 1948, in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Grange Goff and Katherine Gneiting. Soon after her birth the family moved to Idaho. She graduated from American Falls High School in 1968 and attended one year at Ricks College in Rexburg.
Marla worked many jobs including the hospital cafeteria, in an insurance office, Lamb Weston, managing a Maverik and cleaning the courthouse with her mother.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in the primary and as a visiting teacher.
Marla loved working outdoors where she would help many older people with their yard work and gardening. Payment for her services was usually a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She loved people and was kind to everyone.
She is survived by her brothers, Wade, Neil and Brian, and also her sisters, Connie and Brenda; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three siblings, Brent, Sheryl and Gayle.
Marla’s remains will be buried in the Falls View Cemetery, American Falls, close to her parents and loved ones. Close friends and family are invited to attend the graveside service on June 12 at 1 p.m.
