Our dear Mother, Hepolita Navarro Cantu, sadly passed away on September 14, 2023 in Temecula, CA, at the age of 91 years old.
She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was always there when we needed her. Hepolita had many friends and was a beloved member of the community.
She was predeceased by her three sons, Candelario Cantu Jr., Philip Cantu and James Cantu; her parents Feliciano and Maria Navarro; and her 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years of marriage, Candalario Cantu; her daughters San Juanita Briseno, Graciela Rodriquez (Juan Rodriguez), Mary Cantu-Velasquez, Carol Reyes (Rafael Reyes) and Carmen Marie Avalos (Jose Luis Avalos); 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mama’s Celebration of Life that will be taking place on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church located at 524 N. 7th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83201.
