Because of an unforeseen change in our printing schedule, The Power County Press and The Aberdeen Times are changing their deadlines.
The new deadline will be Thursdays at 5 p.m. for most content for the next Wednesday publications. Legal notices have a different deadline, and will need to be in by Thursday at noon for the next Wednesday publication. For example, for the Wednesday, Jan. 13, issue, content will need to be in by Thursday, Jan. 7, by 5 p.m. or 12 noon for legal notices.
Content beyond the legal notices may include advertising, community events, birthday announcements, anniversary announcements, birth announcements and wedding announcements, etc. Obituaries and death notices will also need to be in as soon as possible to be included. Please continue to send in your advertising and community announcements, just at the earlier deadline.
All announcements appear for free in both papers, while advertising, legal notices and obituaries have a fee. Contact The Power County Press at 208-226-5294 or email@example.com
, or The Aberdeen Times at 208-397-4440 or firstname.lastname@example.org
for more information.
(Note: the early voting times have been adjusted to 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Power County Courthouse, instead of 9 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. as reported in this week’s Press)
