Shana Lee Nelson, 59, was born to Farold “Buster” and Harriet Nelson. She was the fourth of nine children. She was admitted to ISSH at the age of five in 1959. That was her home for most of her life. The Lord called her home on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013. Shana will be missed by family and loved ones.
Shana is survived by two sisters, Jodie Franzen, Bruce, WI, and Pennie Soltero, Pocatello, ID.
She was preceded by her parents, Farold and Harriet Nelson, brothers, Arthur Ray Nelson, and Farold Ray Nelson Jr.; sisters, Sharon Kay Sahweets, Karon Rae Nelson, Venda Larayne Rymer, and Rosemary Ann Whiting.
The funeral was Friday, Jan. 3, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Rockland, ID. The interment followed at the Rockland Valley View Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.davisrosemortuary.com.
