Jeffrey Lynn Anderson, 57

Jeffrey Lynn Anderson, 57, of Aberdeen, ID, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at his home from cancer.

He was born May 7, 1957 in American Falls, ID, to Earl H. Anderson and Ruby Marie Parsons Anderson.

He attended school in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1975.

On April 11, 1980, he married Lyona Lee Oman. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 1, 1981.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served wherever and whatever he was called to do.

Jeff worked for Wahlen Farms for many years and most recently worked for Silverline Custom as a professional applicator.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers, watching all sports, especially the local high school sports, playing baseball, bowling, scenic drives, spending time with family and grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Lyona of Aberdeen; children, Travis Anderson of Pocatello, Eric Anderson of Williston, ND, Jennifer (Tyler) Beck of Aberdeen, Sarah Anderson of Pocatello, and Rachel (Cody) Ferguson of Pocatello; siblings, Sue Frisk, Doug (Rosa) Anderson, Mike (Becky) Anderson, Dallen (Vicki) Anderson, Tammy Irvine, Connie Anderton and brothers-in-law, Jim Nilsson and Philip Davis, mother-in-law Lila Christiansen; five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Ruby Anderson; siblings, Earline Nilsson, Barry Anderson, Luana Davis, Vicki Anderson, brother-in-law Richard Frisk and father-in-law, Gary Oman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at the Aberdeen LDS Church with Bishop Darren Hall of the Aberdeen Second Ward conducting.

The family will meet with friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 at the Hawker Funeral Home at 132 S. Shilling Ave. in Blackfoot, and again on Friday at the church for an hour prior to services.
