No dancing on the job

There are moments at The Press where I have some useful time on my hands, open area and some music to get me going. I like to break out in random dance sometimes and according to Debbie, that is not allowed. So during that spare time I get time to contemplate life. I still have a lot of years ahead of me and can’t believe all the things I’ve already experienced. I’m on the final stretch of moving back in with the parents and I didn’t think it would be that hard for me to let go of living at the house in Pocatello, also known as Club 15. I’ve had the opportunity to work for some great people and friends, my bosses Randal, Bill and Doug all took me in and made working at the ISU Campus Rec a wonderful time for me. I also was introduced to some wonderful people during that time, some of my great friends Marcos Quiroz, Miles Newby, Amber Hughes, Karlee Balginy, and too many others to name. I guess I can throw my brother Robert in there, he was a show off when it came to working hard. Never takes a minute off, to contemplate… or to dance. Even though that is the case, he still could beat me in a dance off.

I also want to congratulate my friend Amber on returning from her mission for the LDS church. She just got back from a Spanish speaking mission in San Diego, CA. It doesn’t feel like it has been 18 months but I’m glad she can come back and grace us with her bubbly personality. I learned a lot of life lessons during that time, but I think, for now, I need to learn more dance lessons right now.

One other thing before you go, it is Brett and his twin Becky’s 60th birthday this Thursday, the 21st. If you see them be sure to give them a great big hug and a loving birthday wish. I also want to wish them a great birthday. You guys both look like babies for being 60 years old. I love you both dearly and couldn’t have asked for a better Dad and Aunt.
