Bernice Jorgensen Phillips was born Dec. 9, 1916, at Smithfield, Cache County, UT. She was the first child of Myrvin Orsman Jorgensen and Martha Ann Buck Jorgensen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, her parents and her brothers Kenneth, Blaine and Victor Jorgensen. She is survived by two sisters Ila Beth Jorgensen and Laura (Noble) Jorgensen Lerwick; by seven children: Earl, Carl (Nola), Keith (Donna), Larry (Judy), Kenneth (Nancy), Paul (Marianne) and Jeannette Phillips; by 35 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren. She passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, in American Falls, Power County.
The funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints in Aberdeen, at 2 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.davisrosemortury.com.
