Roger A. Underwood passed away at his home in Rome, NY, on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, following a courageous battle against cancer.
A military funeral was held in New York on Friday, Aug. 22, attended by family and friends.
Roger had recently retired from the United States Air Force and then worked for Lockheed Martin and NATO in Saudi Arabia. Roger was also responsible for installing security systems in Kabul, Afghanistan prior to his death.
Roger is the son of Carol Jones of American Falls, ID, and William Underwood. He is survived by his wife Margaret, son Joseph, daughter-in-law and granddaughter all of Rome, NY. Sisters Mary Watkin of Hailey, ID, and Candy Fowler (sister) of Flowermound, TX.
