Jose G. Perez, 69, of American Falls, Idaho, passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, peacefully with his family by his side.
On May, 2, 1965, Jose married Lupe Aguirre Perez in Rio Hondo, TX.
Jose was a strong man who loved and was loved by all who had an opportunity to know him. He taught us about unconditional love and sincere compassion. A loving person, he always opened his heart and his home to anyone who needed help and always treated them as family.
A prideful father who protected his kids and grandkids and would make extraordinary sacrifices in the name of family.
He loved working outdoors and enjoyed fishing with his grandkids.
He was a farm worker for 28 years, he also loved working on cars and doing yard work on the weekends.
He proudly instilled family values that will continue to live on throughout the generations.
He will be greatly missed by everyone, but never forgotten.
Jose is survived by his wife, Lupe, of American Falls, children Joe Perez Jr., Ida (Jimmy) Vasquez and Lilly Perez all of American Falls, Rene (Nancy) Perez of Pocatello. Siblings: Daniel (Mary) Perez of Clovis, NM, Conrad (Irene) Perez of Lancaster, TX, Ruth Perez Sagal of Seven Points, TX, Rufus (Analee) Perez of Pocatello, Alicia (Macario) Sanchez of Combes, TX, as well as 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Emilia and Refugio Perez.
