Barbara Lee (Dusenbery) Hidalgo

Barbara (Nana) Hidalgo passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 quietly in her sleep. Barbara was born on Jan. 13, 1944 to Ray and Adeline (Lewis) Dusenbery. The first of seven children, Barbara was big sister and mom to the younger children (Nancy, Ted, Mickey, Cherie, Linda and Jim) while her parents worked.

Barbara gave birth to six children of her own: Kathy (John) Vanek, Kandy (Vern) Pannell, Tina (Joe) Turner, Lalo (Therese) Hidalgo, Angie (Dean) Morris and our little brother Timmy. She had 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and many adoptive ones as well.

Everyone that knew Barbara knew her as Nana. She was loved by many. She had a huge heart and giving nature. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers; sister, Cherie; three husbands, Lonnie Chandler, Jay Mrazek and Lalo Hidalgo, without which none of us would be here; one son, Timmy (Wink); grandson, Zachariah Raymond; and numerous others that she loved wholeheartedly.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 30, at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St. in American Falls and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, at PowerHouse Christian Fellowship, 2905 Sunbeam Rd. in American Falls with funeral services to follow at 11:30 at the church.
