Rita Marie Lewis Walker

Born March 26, 1962 – Passed June 10, 2016

Rita was born in Twin Falls, ID, to Raymond and Karen Lewis. She grew up in Twin Falls and attended schools there.

She put herself through CSI, graduating with a nursing degree. She worked in different areas of nursing. She touched many lives with her smile and kind words. She was truly gifted.

Rita was an avid wood worker and created many wonderful and intricate pieces with her beloved scroll saw. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping (as long as the AC was working) and riding her four wheeler. She loved to sleep outside on her patio during the hot weather.

Rita married Daniel Homolka and from that union came her most treasured gifts, her children and grandchildren. They were later divorced and she married Mike Stokesberry, who later passed from cancer. At the time of her passing she was married to her loving husband Stan Walker.

Rita was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Lewis Jr. She is survived by her husband Stan, her parents, sister Renita Tolman whom she had many good times with, and children Raymond (Melissa) Homolka, Danielle (Robert) Maxfield, and Karly (Nick) Ruiz. Between the two a total of 10 children, 31 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

At Rita’s request there will be no services. Those who wish may share memories and condolences on her memorial page at www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.net. Arrangements are under the direction of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.
