On the morning of Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, Mickey “Mick” Dale DeRoche passed away surrounded by his sister and a caring staff at the Veterans Home in Lewiston, ID. Mick lost his four-month battle with cancer at 11:45 a.m. Mick was 70 years old.
Mick was born in Idaho Falls, ID, on Oct. 9, 1946. Mick grew up in Southern Idaho and joined the U.S. Navy in 1964. He spent four years as a Boiler Technician. Soon after an honorable discharge, he married and had two boys. Mick had a passion for fishing, hunting, camping, anything that involved being in the outdoors. Mick was a friend to all who knew him and will be missed.
Mick is survived by his sister, Dalene Adkins, and his two sons, Russell and Jake DeRoche. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
