August “Junior” Schultz 9-20-23

August Edward Schultz “Junior” is fishing on the shores of Heaven. He was released to the big river in the sky on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023.
Junior was born to August Otto “Jack” Schultz and Helen Francis Claire Koppleman Schultz on June 26, 1944. He grew up in Aberdeen, ID, and later enlisted in the United States Navy in 1962. He served in the Vietnam War alongside many other great heroes.
When he returned home, he “hooked the catch of his life”, MarlaKay Corbridge on Oct. 13, 1967. Together, they raised five children, Debbie (Earl) Wallace, David (Pauline) Schultz, Tena (James) Sprague, Shannon (Rose) Schultz and Desiree Saiz. They have 11 grandchildren Brittni, Robbi, Miranda, Destin, Schelbie, Mareena, Skylyn, Colten, Katelynn, Hayden and Ethan. That brought together 18 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. That is a strong love!
Junior worked for Pahl Farms for 42 years. He loved farming and everything it involved; he loved the Pahl family like they were his own. He made many life-long friends throughout the years working there.
Anyone who knew Junior knew what a special person he was. He had a kind heart, a pure soul, and will be remembered by many for those special values.
Junior is preceded in death by his parents; August Otto “Jack” Schultz and Helen Francis Claire Koppleman Schultz; wife, MarlaKay Schultz; and sister, Wilma Kendall.
