Damian Alexander Jacobson, 34, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023. A celebration of life was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID. Interment followed at Falls View Cemetery, American Falls, ID.
Damian was born Sept. 13, 1988 in Pocatello, ID. He grew up in Aberdeen, ID, graduating from Aberdeen High School. He joined the National Guard from 2009 to 2014 and was deployed to Iraq in 2010-2011. He lived in Pocatello and briefly attended Idaho State University.
He married Kami West on Sept. 7, 2012.
His interests and hobbies included playing video games, Warhammer 40K, reading, shooting guns with friends and watching movies.
Surviving him are: his wife, Kami: two brothers, Jeff Winberg of Honolulu, HI, and Adrian Jacobson of Eugene, OR; three sisters, Brandi, Amber and Hailey Jacobson, all of Idaho Falls; father, Erik Jacobson of Idaho Falls; step-mother CJ Jacobson of Idaho Falls; step-father, Blaine Winberg of Aberdeen; and grandmother Grace Jacobson, Pocatello.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shawna Winberg; and grandparents, George and Martha Kopp and Jon Jacobson.
