Humberto Reyes Castañeda passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023 in Rupert, ID. He was born May 29, 1941 in Del Rio, TX, the son of Pablo and Mary “Santo” Reyes Castañeda.
He married Yolanda Bosquez on March 15, 1959 and their children are Humberto Jr., Linda, Rose, Bertha, Cindy and Albert.
Humberto “Herbie” enjoyed bowling, fishing, swimming, camping, road trips, music, cooking and scratching lottery tickets. But most of all he loved his family and many grandkids and great-grandkids.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 9:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass was at 10:30 a.m. the same day at Presentation of the Lord Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Chapel, 375 Roosevelt Street, American Falls.
Interment was in Falls View Cemetery.
