Our beloved Mother, Alma Fay Ellis (known to most as Dutch) 91 years old. Born October 27, 1923 in Sundance, WY. Died December 20, 2014 at Aberdeen, ID. Alma married the love of her life, Roy Ellis August 22, 1944 in Hardin, Montana. He preceded her in death December 29, 1996.
Alma was an active member of the LDS Church and held numerous positions. She was actively involved in the Aberdeen Senior Citizens Center. She loved playing Sorry and cards with family and friends. Many members of the Aberdeen community can remember Mother walking in and out of local merchants just to greet everyone.
Alma is survived by her children, Dave (Vicki) Ellis, Ron (Leslie) Ellis, Jess (Debbie) Ellis, Vera (Keith) Hodgkinson and Dean (Karla) Ellis. Two brothers and a sister, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Church, Aberdeen First Ward Chapel with Bishop Ryan Wahlen presiding. Friends and loved ones may meet with the family beginning at 10 a.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Aberdeen Senior Citizens. 92 West Washington, Aberdeen, ID. 83210.
