Ina Eleanor Packer Beyeler

Ina Eleanore Packer Beyeler passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, in American Falls, Idaho. She was born Nov. 4, 1937 to Leo and Ina Mecham Packer the sixth of eight children in Pocatello, Idaho.

In 1955 she married William T. Jackson and had two children, Elaine and Gary. They later divorced. In 1959 she married Charles Turner and they had four children, Joyce, Janet, Charles and Ronald. They later divorced. In 1974 she married Don Beyeler, the love of her life. Don was blessed with six wonderful step children.

She was very active in Cub Scouts receiving the Silver Beaver Award.

Eleanore is survived by her husband, Don Beyeler, three daughters, Elaine (Ron) Beyeler, Joyce (Scott) Marlar and Janet Turner; three sons, Gary (Pat) Jackson, Charles Turner, and Ronald (Michelle) Turner. She has 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by three siblings, Gene (Gwen) Packer, Mike (Linda) Packer and Sharon (Dean) Wacaster; sister-in-law’s, Evelny, Mary and Alean Packer. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty and three brothers, Jim, Bill and Jack Packer.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 650 Pocatello, Ave., American Falls. There will be a viewing from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, at Davis-Rose Mortuary 170 Idaho Street, American Falls and Saturday, 10 a.m. before the funeral.
